Exhale, Take An Emotional Break

Exhale and Take an Emotional Break in 2010

By now, I know we have all voiced volumes of prayers to aid President Obama and his administration with the work they have to tackle during the next four years. Decisions by the previous administration have led to the fate of thousands of American citizens who were profoundly affected by job and business losses, staggering housing foreclosures, and a downward spiral into an economic depression. Meanwhile, we still must stand strong and forge on until an imminent change occurs.

Most of us have spent years working hard to make a living. Writers wrote, educators taught, contractors built, yet, in latter years many people barely survived. Despite the chaos in this world, how many people have stopped to take an “emotional break”? The mind and body work together. Our bodies need to be replenished with healthy choices such as: adequate rest, good nutrition, exercise, spirituality, and tranquility.

For 2010, we need to clean out the clutter, lift up the name of Jesus Christ, and pray for love, peace, and harmony in the world. Make time for ourselves; take a deep breathe, exhale, and move forward to great things.
